Here are a few common questions I'm asked. If you don't see the answer to your question, feel free to reach out to me by email or Instagram direct message.
Can I put my pottery in the dishwasher?
Yes. All Jack of Cups pottery is dishwasher safe and microwave safe. Preheat your mugs by pouring in warm water and let sit for 60 seconds before replacing with boiling water to prevent thermal shock.
How long have you done pottery?
More recently, I became obsessed with getting my hands in clay since February of 2024 and haven't stopped since.
Where will you sell next?
I announce my next markets on my bio on instagram with an accompanying post. Follow my instagram to keep up to date!
Do you teach pottery classes?
Yes. I currently teach classes at Bitter Root Pottery Aqueous in Marina Del Rey. DM me on instagram if you're interested in taking a class.
Do you do commissioned work?
Unfortunately, I’m not able to take commissions at this time. Check back in to see if this changes in the future.
What was your first class like?
My first experience was at the Laguna Sawdust Festival in the mid-2000s when my Oma took my sister and me. There was a small make-your-own pottery instruction booth. I hated touching the cold and wet clay and asked that the instructor make a thin-necked vase that I could keep. This small vase still lives at my parents' house.
